Module Description
This foundational module introduces students to the professional identity and legally defined role of the Home Health Aide (HHA) in New Jersey. Students will explore the HHA’s position within the healthcare continuum, understand the boundaries of their scope of practice, and develop an appreciation for the ethical and legal responsibilities inherent to the role. The module establishes professional expectations that will be reinforced throughout the entire training program and into clinical practice.

Most students complete the online portion in 2–4 weeks, followed by 16 hours of in-person skills training. Approximately 1 week over a few days.

You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion and guidance on the Board of Nursing certification process. Graduates also receive priority hiring consideration with our agency.
